The position will report to the Chief Anti-Bribery Officer
Position Objective: Provide support for global Anti-Bribery Gifts & Entertainment, Hiring, Hiring Control Processes, and Program Integration.

Responsibilities:
Serve as subject matter expert and Anti-Bribery Approver in relation to Gifts & Entertainment, hiring controls, and program integration;
Serve as the global program support in connection with the Citi Anti-Bribery Policy and Program, and related policy documents and processes;
Perform Anti-Bribery pre-approval processes and advisory functions, such as those associated with Gifts & Entertainment, employment opportunities, and charitable contributions and events in accordance with the Citi Anti-Bribery Policy and G&E Standard. Coordinate with regional Anti-Bribery G&E coordination units to ensure consistency in advisory and controls processes;
Assist in maintaining, reviewing, and updating the Citi Anti-Bribery Policy, Anti-Bribery Program Framework, the Gifts and Entertainment Standard, and the Anti-Bribery Hiring Procedures, among other policy documents;
Provide SME evaluation of regulatory and enforcement developments and assess impact to Citi anti-bribery program and processes. This includes guidance issued by the SEC and DOJ, as well as impact analysis in relation to local anti-bribery law developments. Ensure updates to policy to align with regulatory and program updates and maintain consistency in Anti-Bribery program documents.
Serve as the global support in connection with the oversight and maintenance of the Anti-Bribery Hiring Program, the Anti-Bribery Regulatory Change Management Process, and the Anti-Bribery Regulatory Inventory;
Lend support for ICRM Anti-Bribery’s advisory role in liaising with Global Government Affairs on relevant anti-bribery matters;
Assist with the preparation of metrics and other reports related to anti-bribery policy maintenance and Managers’ Control Assessments; and
Assist with the preparation and delivery of training relating to anti-bribery policy and program.

Qualifications

Knowledge of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act, and anti-bribery regulatory regimes;
Experience drafting and editing compliance policies and procedures;
Clear and persuasive communication skills (verbal and written); able to influence others based on the message versus relying on authority;
Ability to influence peers and senior managers across functions;
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with fellow employees and/or clients in Human Resources, the Business, Global Government Affairs, Internal Audit, Independent Compliance Risk Management, and other control functions;
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization;
Exhibit conscientiousness and a high degree of attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
Ability to think and write clearly and critically and respond to time-sensitive needs of the Business;
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive results with a high sense of urgency;
Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience, required;
Juris doctor degree, or equivalent experience, preferred;
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and open source research skills; and
5+ years of financial services experience in a Compliance, Legal, or equivalent role, is a plus.
