The Product Line Management Analyst III (PLMA III) is responsible for the development of company market requirements for chemical & EHS related products and services. Monitors the development of business plans, assessing and reporting market win rates and penetration, product sourcing/positioning with sales verticals to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share. Reduces broad concepts, business strategies, and chemical quotations into structured product marketing plans. Provides market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing products or product lines. Additional duties may include:
Supports activities and initiatives resulting in new business development in the chemical product area, domestic and international.
Develops specific marketing plans and activities for diverse scope specific product(s) or product line(s) with moderate complexity to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. Develops complex business plans and product positioning in the marketplace.
Oversees complex market research, analyzes data, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs.
Works with supply chain, EH&S, and sales to develop chemical bids and enhance existing chemical product(s) or chemical services(s).
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelors Degree in related field.
Required: 4+ years related experience.
Travel: Up to 25%
