Serving as a materials handler under general supervision providing a full range of services involving the receipt, storage and issue of supplies for internal consumption.
Moving supplies and material by stacking in assigned locations, conducting inventories.
Assisting in the unloading of trucks, as required, by using hand trucks, pallets, jacks or dollies and moves or stores supplies as necessary.
Verifying and documenting receipt of material by checking received items against vendor's documents and purchase orders or requisition documents.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
Medical examination is required.
Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have nine months experience in warehousing activities. Must have and retain a valid state driver's license. Knowledge of operation of fork lift equipment desired but not required.
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: knowledge, skills, abilities, additional screening criteria and other characteristics.
Ability to stock, move, arrange and rotate warehouse items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher level employee. Skilled in manually stacking, palletizing, arranging and rotating items according to size and weight; using hand trucks. Dollies and other similar manual equipment to move stock. Ability to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
