**Job Overview:**
The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ecommerce business. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Shipping & Fulfillment:**
- Oversee the entire shipping process, ensuring orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain efficient shipping processes to minimize delays and reduce shipping costs.
- Work closely with shipping carriers to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery services.
- **Inventory Management:**
- Manage the receiving of inventory, ensuring that all products are accurately logged, stored, and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and reduce waste.
- **Customer Service:**
- Lead and manage the customer service team to ensure timely and effective responses to customer inquiries.
- Resolve customer issues related to orders, shipping, and product quality, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve customer service processes and train the team on best practices.
- **Team Leadership:**
- Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

- Strong knowledge of shipping processes, inventory management, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
