Cook Responsibility Highlights include:
- Oversee the preparation of nutritious, palatable meals in a timely and consistent manner.
- Maintain adequate food supplies
- Purchase food and supplies within budget.
- Plan menus in accordance with dietary standards.
Cook Minimum Qualifications:
- Dietary Manager or Supervisory experience required
- Graduate of a dietetic technician program approved by the American Dietetic Association. Certified Dietary Manager who has maintained certification as required by the certifying board for the Dietary Managers Association. Graduate of a state approved that provided 90 or more hours of classroom instruction in food service supervision and has experience in a healthcare institution with consultation from a dietician; or has training and experience in food service supervision and management in a service equivalent; or working toward credentialing within 3 years.
