Job Description
Work as part of our software development life cycle and address zero downtime release management
Engage as part of teams working on Agile based iterative development and help implement software engineering best practices
Design, implement and maintain large scale Kubernetes clusters with monitoring, logging and alerting
Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews
Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health and improving reliability
Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
Practice sustainable incident response and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement
Be part of an on-call rotation to support production systems and post-deployment monitoring
Focus on production-readiness, build and deliver SecOps tooling and features to run sensitive data workloads in production
Qualifications
Are you dedicated, upbeat and dynamic with excellent software engineering ability? Are you a software engineer passionate about systems and highly motivated to solve complex technical problems? If so, you may be a perfect fit for our team.
Experience Needed
5+ years of DevOps cloud engineering experience with at least one of the leading public cloud platforms. AWS experience is desired
3+ years of experience in running cloud services using products such as Kubernetes, Docker or OpenShift
Strong automation skills using tools such as Terraform, Jenkins and ArgoCD
Programming experience in operating cloud environments using languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, and Java
Experience working with designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems managing highly sensitive data
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
Worked in a high growth, fast paced environment with ability to multi-task
Education
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
To us, DevOps is a combination of great systems engineering and software engineering.
Bonus points
Experience with side projects where you've learned to rapidly apply new technologies, frameworks or programming languages
Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design
Cloud solution architect certificate from any of the public clouds (such as AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
