With $1,000 in his pocket, Allen Lund made the brave decision to start his own transportation brokerage company. It was 1976, when Allen Lund Company formally opened the first office in Los Angeles. Now, we have 37 offices throughout the country and continue to grow!

We are looking for Transportation Brokers in Training to join our team! Transportation Brokers in Training will assist in managing incoming and outgoing shipping logistics for cargo transportation carriers and shipping companies. The ideal candidate would be responsible for performing daily "check calls" on loads in transit, handling customer related issues and inquiries, originating the necessary documentation for freight bills. Customer Acquisition and Development
Transportation Brokers in Training may be involved in:
Contacting new customers
Customer acquisitions
Developing and increasing profitable volume with existing and newly acquired shippers
Building relationships with developing accounts
Using strong relationships to understand customer’s business, better qualifying them to identify and solve the customer’s problems
Delivering exceptional customer service
Rely on mentors and management for direction
Uphold the company standard following the company principles of Customer, Company, Office
Carrier Acquisition and Development
Transportation Brokers in Training may be involved in:
Contacting and building relationships with carriers
Increasing capacity for specific projects and lanes
Increasing the overall capacity for the office and company
Rely on mentors and management for direction
Uphold the company standard following the company principles of Customer, Company, Office
Branch Operations
Transportation Brokers in Training may be actively involved in:
Daily operations of accounts in the office. This includes:
Building loads
Setting up carriers
Updating/check calls
Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments
Updating customer systems
Updating customers with critical information, etc.
