Human Resource Assistant

This role coordinates and administers a variety of personnel related duties and assists employees and the HR staff while ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution. The HR Assistant will support and assist in HR policies, processes, and relevant documents such as coordinating benefits, wellness programs, new hire onboarding, and employee recognition programs. Familiarity with our industry is also an advantage.

Accommodate employee questions, concerns and/or complaints
Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
Compile and update employee records
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, transfers, etc.)
Coordinate benefits and wellness programs
Prepare orientation materials and conduct orientation to newly hired employees
Administer uniform program through documenting issues and following up with uniform vendor
Coordinate employee recognition programs and postings
Process hourly terminations
Process all written and verbal VOE's (Verification of employment)
Is responsible for maintaining very confidential information and protecting its security
Performs various clerical and statistical assignments related to personnel functions

Requires a High School degree.
An Associate s Degree and/or a Bachelor s Degree is desirable with experience in related field.
