This position is responsible for performing a variety of standard clerical and administrative tasks in support of an assigned department. Responsibilities may include preparing documents; performing standard office tasks; and providing customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: TYPICAL CLASS ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
Prepares and provides documents related to an assigned area, including: preparing financial transactions; preparing work orders; generating reports; and/or preparing related documents.
Performs standard office tasks, including: filing; sorting documents; reviewing information for accuracy; updating documents; handling mail; performing data entry; compiling information and agendas; and/or maintaining department materials.
Reviews and verifies program related information; tracks and identifies information based on defined procedures.
Provides customer service, including: responding to standard customer issues; providing required documents to customers; responding to standard information inquiries; and/or directing customer questions to appropriate staff.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance, including attendance at required meetings.

Some positions may require occasional exertion of up to 30 pounds of force.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); related experience preferred; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
