Established property management and brokerage company (40+ years) seeking an experienced property manager for multi-family and retail buildings in Manhattan.
Job Purpose: Oversee day-to-day operations of 4 residential and retail properties, including tenant relations, building upkeep and maintenance, respond to tenant complaints, interface with vendors, oversee renovations and improvements, supervise Superintendents and other building staff. Some properties are 32BJ. Experience with 32BJ a big plus.
* Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints; enforcing rules of occupancy; inspecting vacant units and completing repairs; planning renovations; contracting with service providers, overseeing Superintendents and other building staff, regular building inspections and preventative maintenance reports.
* Negotiating leases; tracking arrears status and starting legal action; monitoring compliance with Lease terms.
* Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services; supervising repairs.
Skills/Qualifications: NYC Property management experience required. Knowledge of NYC Building code, HPD, DOB/ECB etc... required. Experience with boilers, elevators and violations required. Knowledge of MDS Property Management software is a plus. Experience with 32BJ properties is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
