KS2 CNC Consultant

The CNC Consultant role at KS2 Technologies is responsible for technical design, administration, implementation, and upgrade of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software releases varying from XE – 9.x. Support delivery of KS2’s offerings such as managed services, custom business applications, ERP application interfaces, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and web-based portals for customers. The ideal candidate will be able to meet directly with clients. They will need to have the ability to provide technical analysis, make the appropriate recommendations, communicate thoroughly and execute timely for each project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain JD Edwards release levels (XE – 9.x)
  • Perform JD Edwards Application/Tools Release Implementations and Upgrades to latest versions
  • Administering JD Edwards Security and User Defined Objects (UDO’s)
  • Install, Upgrade and Maintain Web Servers utilizing WebLogic and WebSphere Application Servers
  • ESU / ASU installations
  • Object Management Workbench (OMW)
  • Perform Package Builds
  • Deployments
  • Design and maintain task views
  • OneView Reporting Configuration
  • Support Mobile initiatives
  • Work directly with end users to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Support JD Edwards running on MS SQL and Oracle Databases.
  • Monitor system performance and implement solutions

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Working experience supporting Windows Server 2012 – 2016 in JD Edwards environment
  • Working experience supporting LINUX in JD Edwards environment
  • Infrastructure/server management in public / private clouds utilizing AWS, Oracle or Azure
  • Proficient with SQL utilizing MS SQL, Oracle and DB2 databases
  • Experienced DBA using MS SQL or Oracle databases is a plus
  • Working experience using JD Edwards BSSV technology
  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards Mobile technology is a plus
  • Disaster Recovery analysis and support
  • Experience as a Consultant in a Professional Services organization
  • Be a highly motivated individual and multitask oriented

LOCATION: Grapevine, TX

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Up to 25% domestic travel may be required to work (to Client specific locations).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5+ years as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC Administrator

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: JD Edwards CNC Administrator

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE AND CONSIDERATIONS:

  • JD Edwards E1 development tools (RDA, FDA, OMW, TDA, BVDA, DSTR design)
  • Supporting an IBM AS400/iSeries JDE Enterprise Server configuration
  • Project Management of JD Edwards Implementations and/or Upgrades.
  • No sponsorship / must be US citizen

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Compiles and manages lists of prospective customers, qualifies and develops leads, progresses leads to prospects, and prospects into sales.
  • Work closely with delivery team to ensure proper configuration and solutioning.
  • Keeps sales pipeline current in salesforce.com, HubSpot and communicates sales progress to management.
  • Attends trade shows when specified to generate new leads and identify next steps in the sales process for these leads.
  • Maintains and achieves assigned sales quota with a focus on recurring services revenue.
  • Maintains required sales and technical certifications
  • Is knowledgeable about KS2’s service and solution offerings and is able to demonstrate features/benefits, via webinars/phone/personal presentations, and emphasizes salable features and client value.
  • Prepares proposals and statements of work (SOWs) using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
  • Prepares reports of sales activities, pipeline status, business transactions, and keeps expense accounts.
  • Works with administrative staff to ensure order accuracy, timely error free billings, complete and accurate orders, and prompt payment.
  • Works with delivery team to ensure successful system installation and/or services implementation.
  • Once sale is made will provide account coverage which yields excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Obtains orders and provides account coverage by traveling throughout assigned territory, talking with prospective customers by phone, communicating via email, web, and other social media tools.
  • Establishes, maintains, and services accounts, covering territory to ensure high level of customer satisfaction, positive long-term relationships, and repeat business

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CONSIDERATIONS:

  • 4 year degree
  • 5- 10years selling IT Professional Services or IT Software experience
  • Track record of hitting quotas
  • Experience working at an IBM, Oracle, or Microsoft VAR/Reseller/SI a plus
