Overview of position:

The Maintenance Reliability Manager is responsible for all maintenance operations including leading and planning maintenance Team activities, Team development and continuous improvement of skills and knowledge, equipment health, employee safety, maximizing machine productivity and reliability as well as the condition and upkeep of the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and Lead a Team of world-class maintenance professionals to support the production requirements of the organization
  • Development and management of all maintenance activities, with safety of all employees and contractors being the highest priority
  • Implement, manage and lead a preventative & predictive maintenance/process reliability as part of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program
  • Implement, manage, and maintain a CMMS and MRO system
  • Maintaining a rationalized MRO inventory
  • Maintenance labor management and scheduling
  • Managing improvement of key performance indicators such as OEE, MTBF/MTTR, continuous improvement of maintenance functions, and for department budget cost effectiveness.
  • Development and improvement of the company-wide LOTO Safety program in conjunction with the EH&S Professional
  • Development and training of maintenance technicians & machine operators including coaching, mentoring and performance management
  • Creation of Standard Work Instructions in support of the Maintenance Department
  • Encourage innovation among technicians within the department
  • Provide leadership for the ongoing development of the organization, as well as the strategic development of individual talent for succession planning
  • Participates and/or leads initiatives for capital projects and problem-solving activities
  • Assures purchasing functions follow established policies and procedures
  • Supporting, maintaining, and improving processes associated with the computerized maintenance management system for process reliability
  • Facilitating team meetings & training
  • Identifying safety, environmental, quality & production issues
  • Manage budgets including capital planning, contributing to controllable margin and optimizing financial levers
  • Leads the team by proactively resolving employee issues, builds team work, and ensures adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Reliability, Industrial, Electrical &/or Mechanical Engineering
  • Five (5) years' experience as a key maintenance leader in a metal-forming and fabrication manufacturing facility
  • Experience with Equipment performance and reliability metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR
  • Experience in supporting equipment health through the implementation of PM, PdM, and CBM maintenance programs
  • CMMS/EAM system experience
  • MRO and vendor management experience
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to motivate, engage and develop strong team-based relationships
  • Previous experience with project management, to include capital projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and PLC programming/troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to drive results to achieve financial goals
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing processes with a focus on implementation and management of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program
  • Experience in an ISO9001 facility
  • Specific experience with Trumpf Press and Punch, BLM Laser, Robot Welding Systems is highly desired
