Account Executive - AI-Based Conversational Banking | FinTech (Remote)

Finn AI is a rapidly-growing fintech company. We build simple, easy-to-use conversational AI platforms exclusively for banks so their customers can manage their money and improve their financial well-being. With customers across four continents, our conversational AI platform is changing the financial lives of people around the world.

As an Account Executive you are a critical member of the team, responsible for driving the growth of our business. You will have at least 7 years of quota-carrying experience selling into large banks and financial institutions with at least 2 years selling enterprise-grade Saas/PaaS solutions. You regularly bring in $2-5M/year in new sales. You already have a strong C-suite network within Tier 1 US and Canadian banks across CMOs, CDOs and P/(L) owners and are able to prospect, work and close sales opportunities in these markets.

This is a remote (work from home) position for someone located in the US or Canada with easy access to a major airport as you will need to meet with prospective customers 2-3 days/week, often with limited advance notice.

Responsibilities:
You will own a pre-defined territory and a list of Tier 1 and Tier 2 target accounts predominantly located in North America. Your responsibilities will include:

Build and maintain a strong pipeline

Create and manage your Territory Plan as well as Major Account Plans for top accounts

Prospect for new business

Qualify deals and buyers

Represent Finn AI at prospect meetings, conferences and on social media

Act as the primary contact for your accounts

Build and maintain a 3X pipeline with 2X qualified

Achieve or exceed annual sales quota

Create and deliver customized presentations and value propositions based on account type, sales stage, buyer personas and competitors

Proactively manage all open items and identify red flags

Identify buyer’s business objectives and define key win themes

Conduct pre-meetings with Sales Engineer, SMEs and executives to ensure preparedness before customer-facing presentations

Deliver and present proposals to prospective buyers

Lead contract negotiation process through legal and procurement reviews

Grow adoption and expand relationships with customers

Create and manage Major Account Plans for customers to identify other LOBs

Own executive level relationships and understand personal drivers

Work with Customer Success to ensure we are tracking value

Constantly validate and communicate value of our offering

Ensure full rollouts, marketing plans and ease of access to virtual agent

Actively participate in quarterly business reviews specifically around adoption strategies

Formally and informally escalate issues to Executive sponsors

Advocate for customer throughout Finn AI

Maintain proper records on your accounts and deals

Update Major Account Plans (strategies) on all existing customers at least quarterly

Create at least 3 new Major Account Plans per quarter for prospective customers

Maintain shared notes file on all meetings

Create and maintain Deal Sheets for all qualified deals

Review and update CRM pipeline data for sales stage, estimated value and close date no less than monthly for all deals in quarter and quarterly for entire pipeline.

Your background will include:
7+ years of quota-carrying experience selling high-value, multi-year SaaS/PaaS solutions to banks or other financial institutions in North America

A track record of successfully achieving/exceeding quotas in excess of $2million/year

Experience as a hunter and a farmer with a tendency toward hunting

Established network within top-tier banks

Familiarity with digital transformation programs including AI, data analytics, mobile banking software/solutions

Able to excel in a startup environment selling a product that is rapidly evolving within a market in the early stages of adoption

Able to travel up to 50%

Passionate about improving the financial lives of people through the use of AI and digital

Exceptional communication skills: oral, written, presentations, and product demonstrations

Bonus Points

Experience with an AI-based chatbot/virtual agent

Based in a financial services hub like NYC, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, San Francisco

Besides English, you also speak Spanish, French and/or German
