Position
We’re looking for an outgoing, energetic, positive, and results-driven SEO & PPC SPECIALIST to join our marketing team to help optimize our digital presence. The right candidate will have a proven track record in SEO, PPC, and digital marketing, with experience in data-driven campaign management.
Responsibilities
SEO Optimization
- Conduct comprehensive audits of website performance, including visitor metrics, keyword analysis, and site health. Identify opportunities for improvement in URL structure, sitemap, internal linking, and overall crawler visibility.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve keyword rankings, enhance user experience (UX/UI), and drive organic traffic. This includes optimizing site structure, meta tags, and page load speed for better performance in search engines.
- Work closely with content and web teams to align on SEO-driven content strategies. Inform keyword research, topic planning, and content outlines to target architects, homeowners, and contractors. Ensure high visibility and engagement through blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions.
- Manage backlink strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings. Identify high-quality backlink opportunities, collaborate with the team on outreach efforts, and execute link-building initiatives.
- Analyze and design internal linking strategies to improve both visitor user experience and search engine crawler visibility, ensuring all pages are easily accessible and optimized for engagement.
PPC Management
- Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media.
- Perform A/B testing on ads and landing pages to increase conversion rates.
- Monitor ad performance, adjust bids, and optimize targeting to maximize ROI.
- Oversee budget management and performance reporting.
Content Strategy & Collaboration
- Work with the marketing team to develop content that aligns with SEO and PPC strategies.
- Collaborate on landing pages, blogs, and product descriptions to ensure high-quality, optimized content.
Analytics & Reporting
- Regularly report on website performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and paid campaign (PPC) results. Use tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and SEMrush to track user behavior, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for optimization.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and algorithm changes, including monitoring search engine algorithm updates, PPC platform changes, and shifts in the search behaviors of our target audience to ensure strategies remain competitive and effective.
Required Qualifications
● 5-10 years of experience in SEO and PPC campaign management.
● Familiarity with Google Ads, Search Console, Google Analytics, WordPress, and keyword tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).
● Strong data analysis skills and experience with UX/UI optimization for websites.
● Excellent communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
● Proven ability to collaborate in a small, dynamic team.
● Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Passion for the value of beautiful and sustainable wood products, and authentic long-term interest in both wood and construction technology. Candidates should have authentic ethical interest in building materials with low carbon footprint, low maintenance needs, and other sustainable sales points.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Japan or familiarity with Japanese culture.
- Knowledge of design, architecture, or construction.
Hours
Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
