Position Summary

Life Time Strategy consists of a lean team focused on accelerating growth at Life Time. This internal strategy consulting team delivers against project-specific initiatives spanning innovation into new industries, strategic expansion across core businesses, and M&A opportunity. The team works closely with Life Time’s Founder and CEO and his executive leadership team to deliver against Life Time’s most prioritized business initiatives. The Strategy team is seeking multi-faceted, customer-driven, analytical Strategy & Operations Interns. Selected candidates will be matched to top priority projects for the company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Ideate: Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to narrow in on the problems and solutions that will define Life Time’s positioning in the market
Define: Craft concepts and validate through analytical thinking, justifying decisions through intuition and/or teeing up stimuli and hypothesis to validate via research
Build: The Strategy team focuses on deliverables driven by data and insights. In a fast-pasted entrepreneurial company, data and logic to support strategic direction become critical to growth
Launch: With business stakeholders, drive go-to-market strategy and bring products to life
Analyze: Leverage business case modeling, AB testing, and product and business analytics to deep dive into the performance of your projects and products, with an eye towards continuous improvement on key product and experience metrics
Voice of the Customer & Competitive Landscape: Establish a deep understanding of competitors, our customer and their needs, evolving your business intuition and the Life Time product based on those insights

Key Qualifications:
Ability to complete 10 or 12 week summer internship based out of our office in Chanhassen
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Economics, Finance, or Strategy (MBA is a plus)
Professional track record with demonstrated value creation for customer/business
Experience leading entrepreneurial efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and project management to drive ideas forward
