Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Drive key initiatives including value-engineering scoping, creating RFQs, bid analysis, managing capital projects and project implementation
Support day to day procurement related activities such as accounts payable, service related risks, and/or quality corrective actions
Ensure Procurement Portfolio spend is leveraged in improved contracts / agreements at lowest possible total cost while ensuring supply
Develop supplier and internal partnerships to identify and develop ongoing total cost reductions
Ensure strong timelines and project milestones are met to deliver projects on time and in full
Support annual budget process
Manage monthly reporting on price purchasing variance running detailed analysis on budget prices, real prices, volumes, contract coverage and commodity cost impact
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a supply chain related role (CPG experience preferred)
Strong entrepreneurial, project management and financial skills (data and specifications analysis)
Effective communication, negotiation, influencing and e-sourcing skills
Strong strategic/business orientation, with customer focus and the ability to anticipate and deliver change
Effective relationship building ability with both internal and external stakeholders
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Strong numerical and analytical skills in Excel
Structured thinking
Experience or affinity with key (procurement) computer technology and systems e.g. ESO, SAP, Ariba
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
