This is a 67 CW Wing Staff position and experience/knowledge should be commiserate with headquarters-level support. The Safety Program Evaluator/Analyst reports directly to the 67 CW Safety Program Manager and will coordinate and implement the 67 CW Occupational Safety and Health Program ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory bodies, identifying and mitigating physical and procedural hazards in the workplace, and providing/coordinating safety training for employees as required or directed. The Safety Program Evaluator/Analyst is responsible for incident reporting and investigation, assistance with developing and implementing corrective actions, conducting work area inspections and assessments, waste minimization, pollution prevention and control, and record keeping. The 67 CW supports Cyber Mission Forces all of which have associated safety program requirements.
PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze mishap causes and trends and assess risk
Evaluate, inspect and survey areas and activities to eliminate mishap potentials
Conduct mishap investigations, provides risk management consultation
Conduct safety education
Perform safety and occupation health duties in the areas of ground safety and occupational health
Perform periodic evaluations and spot inspections to determine compliance with appropriate occupational safety and health regulations
Conduct safety and occupational health surveys of facilities and equipment related to work operations
Conduct formal investigations of reportable and non- reportable mishaps involving personal injury accidents, property damage, and cases of occupational illnesses
Compile and analyzes mishap data, identify trends, provide manager with mishap/trend analysis data, and assist with developing programs to reduce mishaps
Education/ Certifications: Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university with five (5) years of experience or MS with three (3) years of experience; or the equivalent combination of education; professional training; or work experience.
Relevant Experience: 5-7 years of progressively responsible Safety program support experience; comparable to work performed as a mid-senior level Safety evaluator/analyst; 3-5 years supporting DoD/AF organizations
Key Requirements: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications and other current computer applications, internal transactional applications, and the Internet
