Work Health is seeking a PER DIEM occupational health nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our excellent team in our Presque Isle clinic. Our providers administer direct patient care to employees within the Northern Light Health organization and outside vendors in our communities by performing physical examinations, ordering tests, determining a diagnosis, and developing a treatment plan for patients. Will include monitoring the patient’s health during follow-up visits and adjust the treatment as necessary. Our ultimate goal is to ensure our patients receive the best care possible in managing their work-related treatment plan and be able to return to work in a positive manner. Experience preferred with a background or combination of occupational health, family practice, orthopedics or emergency car e. Travel will be required to provide occasional coverage at some of our other Work Health facilities such as Bangor, Waterville and Pittsfield.
