ZF Services, LLC is looking for a
Primary Responsibility: Under direction of the Sr. Product Manager and in coordination with Sales teams for USC Market, plan and develop an aftermarket product range that delivers competitive benefits to our distribution partners and end-users, while adding strategic and financial value to ZF Services, LLC.
Drive new product introductions through customer feedback (VOC), vehicle research and market/category research.
Thoughtfully maintain the lifecycle of the entire product range through pricing and stocking strategies.
Create logic for discontinuing items and seamlessly supersede parts with minimal customer impact.
Support sales through: The answering of specific product questions, coordinating effective market positions for the product line, filling out of necessary load forms, creating selling presentations and analyzing customer specific data.
Become an expert in the technical attributes of your product, understand typical failure modes, service life, and relative advantages between ZF’s products v. competitors.
Manage the data integrity of the product line in SAP, ensure all necessary information is maintained and accurate.
Quickly resolve all and any SAP issues within your control that are impacting customer satisfaction.
Benchmark competitor offerings and market positions.
Maintain competitor cross reference files, including items where ZF is exclusive.
Articulate the product line features and benefits in a compelling way to the market.
Work with Marketing to develop meaningful and effective marketing communication pieces to connect with the target market.
In conjunction with the Sales Team, conduct market studies and create business plans to project and prioritize future programs/products to meet customer demand and market service readiness requirements. This includes tracking of product populations of all applications sold into USC market.
Partner with National Sales Managers to create a strategy for pricing structure. Track margin performance and propose/implement strategies for improvements. This also includes establishment and maintenance of pricing within ERP system.
Annually review pricing and profitability, create highly-accurate and easy to understand pricing reviews and recommend changes to the organization.
Furnish purchasing with necessary information to properly RFQ vendors and negotiate cost reductions wherever possible.
Create annual line reviews and maintain a product line strategy roadmap.
Comply with the ZF anti-trust policy. Perform related tasks as assigned.
Educational Requirements: BA in Business or Marketing required.
Experience Requirements: Automotive aftermarket experience desired. High technical aptitude. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work within tight deadlines. Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to cooperate with multiple departments and companies. High degree of Technical aptitude. Ability to operate at conceptual and practical levels.
