Job Description Details

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the Returns Supervisor, inspects customer returned merchandise in accordance with established methods and standards. Utilizing the ECR system, the Returns I researches and credits the customer’s account issuing replacements as requested; conducts an inspection of the quality of the returned merchandise determining the disposition, which ensures the highest recovery rate for QVC; re-packages and re-labels the product accordingly. Supports the QVC Difference in the performance of all job duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspects product and dispositions as appropriate.

Interacts with computer.

Interprets customer request.

Rebags/labels product/prepares product for back to stock.

Adheres to all company safety and security policies and procedures.

Maintains attendance according to company policy.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
6 + Months distribution center experience required.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE

QVC product knowledge
Ability to distinguish odors and color
Must have a working knowledge and be comfortable with computer systems.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to read, write and follow direction in English.
Ability to access and enter information using an automated system quickly and accurately.
Ability to accurately recognize and interpret complex numerical/alphabetical sequences.
