The IT Support Specialist will be Long Island-based and responsible for:

Support Services - Established accounts on-going consulting and technical support – telephone, email, remote, on-site, etc.
Project Management - organization, coordination and management of client opportunities: new and existing.
Consulting Services - implementation services, systems and process documentation, etc.
Providing timely technical support to internal employees via telephone, emails, remote or on-site for competent skillset of technologies exhibited
Setup and support Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, Email, Calendar, and collaboration tools (WebEx, etc.)
Local and networked printer setup and support
Gathering additional details, clarify, test, reproduce and document customer issues and create/update Support Cases
Taking full ownership of cases upon assignment, research and resolve the case in a timely manner. Communicate professionally with clients and as frequent as is expected and set by each individual case
Associate's degree in related discipline OR Equivalent combination of education and experience in a clinical role/setting
2-4 years exp in analyzing, programming, designing, testing, implementing computer based systems
Configure applications to meet client's requirements
Understand the functional capabilities and limitations with the technologies being used
Develop high level project work plans
Maintaining, Setup and upgrade (when required) internal infrastructure applications
Excellent verbal, written and/or interpersonal communication skills
Advanced level experience and working knowledge of various computer hardware, network printers, Windows operating systems and Exchange Server
Strong network experience which includes TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and security policies
Familiarity with Remote/Home office support challenges
Strong time management skills, able to multitask and set priorities
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work harmoniously with people at all levels within the organization and be customer-focused
Fine attention to detail and quality of work
Solid problem solving and root cause analysis skills

Additional Information

Expected to work evenings and weekends as needed.
