Capable of understanding and supporting quality, environmental, occupational health and safety requirements, as applicable to this position.
Set up CNC machine(s) to produce products.
Make trial pieces to verify setup, and make adjustments as necessary to produce conforming finished products.
Run and monitor CNC machine to produce required quantities, per work order or Team Leader instructions, load raw material and unload machined parts.
Assist with new product development projects: Edit CNC programs, using G-code, produce and evaluate prototype parts.
Mark or label products to maintain identification, and package as required.
Monitor machine performance to identify need for non-routine maintenance and notify the Team Leader or Maintenance personnel, as appropriate.
Perform routine machine checks and minor maintenance tasks: Verifying fluid levels, lubricants, and filter condition, and refilling or replacing, as needed.
Necessary skills and abilities:
Must be able to use, read and interpret measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, etc. to verify product dimensions, or use go/no-go gages.
OTHER DUTIES:
Maintain adequate supplies of machine consumables.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
