Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and be comfortable handling cashier responsibilities in a retail environment.
Duties
- Greet customers and provide assistance with product inquiries
- Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store shelves
- Assist in restocking merchandise to ensure availability on the sales floor
- Utilize bilingual skills to assist non-native English-speaking customers
- Apply retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change accurately
Skills
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage effectively with customers
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems
- Ability to sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending solutions
- Basic math skills for calculating totals, discounts, and change accurately
- Knowledge of stock procedures to assist in inventory management
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for communicating with diverse customers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.27 - $13.15 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Work Location: On the road
