Satair USA an Airbus company is seeking a highly-motivated and committed individual who can inspire and lead project teams, and also work independently to assist in providing analytical support to both operational activities and improvement projects in the context of global aircraft material management services. This position reports directly to the Head of Operations Americas and will conduct a wide variety of analytical studies, process analysis, and project work and apply results in an effective manner by adopting alternate methods, out-of-the box thinking and new approaches to achieve process, project and governance improvements.
Improve regionalization activities: 30%
Responsible for setting up project management governance & methodology analyses
Analyze and improve Group wide synergies & set values for opportunities
Support the development & develop a synopsis of business opportunities, tactical planning & results execution.
Responsible to manage and coordinate different projects within the Operations parameter in the Airbus and Satair after Sales business.
Improve Operations, Product Management & Service Management: 30%
Responsible for the local set up and building interfaces between Product Management, Service Management and Sales including priority administration, monitoring and maintaining drumbeat energy to completion.
Conduct analyses and make proposals on most effective means to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
Support operations performance analysis and resulting action proposals to ensure performance efforts lead to maximum return.
Ensure process and business consistency in the operational environment through stakeholder management with impacted functions such as: IT, Finance, and transnational Process management.
Lead innovation projects and execute improvements: 30%
Lead innovation in multi-functional teams at all levels within an organization.
Partner with different business entities (Satair and Airbus) to visualize impacts and potential development of business opportunities for future planning, enabling best practice sharing and fact-based decision making.
Act as focal point for requests on Research & Technology supply chain matters and perform feasibility studies, simulations and develop projected forecasts.
Perform additional tasks and assignments as directed by Management (10%).
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Bachelor / Master degree in General Management, Customer Services, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance or combination of education and experience.
Foreign language (German or French) is a plus
3 to 5 years of General Management, Customer Services, Engineering or Supply Chain experience within the Aerospace Industry
Prior experience that indicates ability to get up to speed quickly with proprietary applications and emerging technology
Specific experience in data analysis and presentation skills required
Financial expertise and budget experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed mode with minimal supervision
Ability to create methodologies and structures as well as simplify conclusions and recommendations
Energetic, enthusiastic, success-orientated combined with attention to detail and clear analytical thinking
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
Exceptional skills in the use of Microsoft Office: able to use tools with speed and accuracy. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint preferred
Experience in a business support or project management role is preferred and strong interest to grow in leadership
Ability to effectively lead others without direct supervisory authority and demonstrated ability to plan, motivate and energize a diverse group of team members from multiple functions.
