Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to

Architects are responsible for designing solutions based on performance data, first-hand review and analysis, customer feedback and industry best practices. Identifies performance improvement opportunities for Philips customers, and architects/design solutions to address customers’ needs using technologies and services from Philips and potentially external partners. Develops the solution with other domain experts while matching the customer requirements and willingness to pay. Applies expertise to the sales process concerning services and the level of effort in an engagement to assure customer success and positive business results.

You are responsible for

Responsible for scoping multiple projects that are complex in nature due to scope/financial value
Responsible for leading assessments
Responsible for performing customer stakeholder analysis and communications planning
Meets assigned deadlines
Participates in customer requirements analysis
Leads solution design
Responsible for establishing project labor baseline
Responsible for authoring Statement of Work reflecting specific deliverables of the project
Identifies and recommends solutions for routine problems.
Collaborates with senior leaders for issue resolution
Takes a comprehensive approach to identifying problems, understanding implications, and creating solutions that support the overall project and customer success
Proficient in the facilitation of workshops and meetings
Solution architecture and project management methods, relevant organization and business process
Proficient knowledge of the healthcare environment and healthcare IT implementation methodologies
Effective in facilitating and motivating collaboration, agreement, and commitment among diverse groups
Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels internally and externally
Ensures communication is understood and accomplishes intended objectives
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Understands and utilizes process documents, work instructions and/or standard operating procedures (SOP) to complete work.
Consults with customers and stakeholders to facilitates communication and issue resolution on issues arising during the selling phase
Addresses and/or escalates problems and/or risks uncovered during selling phase
Works with technology and clinical professionals to scope solutions to meet multiple clients’ requirements
Exercises judgment and influence on key decisions within team
Integrating resources effectively, including external resources
Assumes leadership role in initiatives at the direction of management. Takes lead in the solution architecture activities for multiple projects
Identifies and effectively handles challenges
Works independently with general supervision on daily work, general instruction on new assignments, seeks guidance as appropriate
Objectives are clearly defined, freedom is permitted to achieve desired results
Demonstrates increasing independence and decreasing need for work direction
Develops and completes project and programs in a timely manner within budget
Demonstrates increased professional capabilities
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new and custom solutions
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Clinical Practice or other related field or equivalent combination of academic and work experience (Post graduate degree preferred)
Relevant certifications desired (i.e. PMP, CPHIMS)
Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare technology or combination of equivalent related experience and education
Prior leadership positions in healthcare organizations as a CIO, IT Director, and/or internal consultant to executive leadership
Experience in services delivery processes with a focus on Project Management
Requires a broad understanding of multiple technology solution areas in healthcare with specialized knowledge in relevant domains
5+ years of experience developing healthcare solutions and services with a proven client execution track record desired
5+ years of experience in developing and executing on complex project plans, statements of work desired
Experience and comfort working with analytics on large data sets and business analytics software platforms desired
Experience in healthcare industry/system business process desired
