Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) HR has an exciting opportunity within their Autonomous Systems team. The HR Senior Leader for Insitu is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, challenging and highly successful team that makes major contributions to building the foundation for Boeing’s second century of success. This role creates and drives the HR strategy to develop the “Best Team and Talent” for the HR team that is key to the exciting autonomous vehicle potential for Boeing.

This new Senior HR Leader will serve as the senior business partner and consultant to Insitu CEO and leadership team (LT) on all matters related to talent and large scale transformation/change. To be successful in this role you will have energy and passion for not only driving results through an engaged and highly committed team, but also for building strong relationships and delivering results through a vibrant and healthy network. We’re looking for someone who has strong knowledge and management capability in all the HR disciplines, including compensation and benefits, staffing, performance management, diversity, and compliance.

The successful candidate will maintain high visibility and influence with senior leaders across BDS, partnering with HR business leaders to not only meet the needs of the business, but to ensure the HR function leads with excellence.

As a business partner, the successful candidate will:
Develop, drive and deploy specific Insitu HR policies and practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness in this marketplace
Provide strategic insight to Communities of Excellence (CoE) regarding business objectives, challenges and opportunities and the resulting talent implications (near- and longer-term)
Support the LT in fielding top talent today and leaning forward on how roles and capability needs will evolve; monitor and guide the development of the pipeline to ensure business continuity
Regularly assess individual talent and team “health” and model/lead to enhance effectiveness
Coach and counsel LT on range of issues
Partner as a full member of the LT—leveraging business and functional acumen to achieve business goals
Consult with LT on the establishment of performance goals/priorities aligned to enterprise strategy and partner on the assessment, coaching, and development of leaders against these goals on an ongoing basis.
Fully leverage data and predictive “people” analytics to answer questions and drive out insight that supports the business
Anticipate risks of misalignment between the function, business and enterprise priorities, and facilitate leaders through associated solutions and decision
Secure services from HR to enable the business strategy and accountable to ensure execution
Senior expert and conduit for company for talent planning, productivity, performance optimization and organizational change
Strategy, approach and plan to execute human capital elements of the business strategy
Business specific talent strategy aligned with the enterprise vision and strategy
Broker for HR services to enable business strategy
Collaboration with HR CoEs to develop relevant solutions that enable enterprise and business strategy/objectives
Collaboration with Employee and Labor Relations to infuse business priorities into daily HR operations

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years managing or leading people or teams
Experience partnering with business leaders to formulate an HR strategy that drives business results and makes talent decisions
5+ years in Human Resources
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
