The position is part time Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The company is a family owned business with approximately 130 employees. The Administrative Office Assistant will provide general administrative and clerical support to the members of management. The ideal applicant will have previous office experience and be comfortable learning new tasks and confident in their computer abilities. The office dress code is business casual.
This person: · Receive and screens visitors and/or telephone calls and appropriately notify the appropriate person · Takes and relays accurate messages, and answers routine inquiries · Performs a wide variety of word processing tasks to prepare correspondence, reports, charts, and graphs, which may be confidential in nature. · Coordinates meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, schedules appointments, and performs other duties. · Establishes, maintains, and updates record-keeping and filing systems; classifies, sorts and files correspondence, articles, reports, and other documents. · Attends meetings as requested.
