Haag 3D Solutions (H3DS) is seeking an immediate hire for a full-time candidate to serve as GIS Analyst with a strong emphasis on UAS Operations at a client’s office located in The Woodlands, Texas area. Haag 3D Solutions LLC, a Division of Haag Engineering Co., Forensic Engineers & Consultants since 1924, is a technology and services company specializing in the application of 3D imaging, BIM, GIS, and UAS technologies delivering highly accurate and reliable as built documentation for both public and private sector clients. Haag 3D Solutions provides professional 3D geospatial solutions for all types of visualization, maintenance, design and construction projects.


The selected individual will assist the client by implementing a pilot training program with the client’s employees and contractors, maintaining a flight management software system, and coordinating predefined missions. This position requires the ability to interpret user needs into useful applications so strong customer service focus with excellent written and verbal communications is a must. This individual must have a background in GIS or related field and should have experience with technologies such as the Esri ArcGIS platform including ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, Drone2Map, and ArcGIS Online. An FAA UAS Part 107 Pilot certification with a minimum of 50 hours of flight time on a DJI aircraft is preferred but not required. Analyst should be proficient in a variety of UAS Applications and ESRI suite of tools. Travel is anticipated between the client’s office in The Woodlands and other offices and site locations throughout the nation. International travel may also be required.

Database Management
Aircraft Inventory and Maintenance tracking and reporting in compliance to protocols
Tracking of pilot credentials, location and assignment tracking and reporting
Maintain mission flight logs, JSA, pre-flight checklist and data submission tracking and reporting
Mission Coordination
Predefined missions (Asset patrols, persistent area monitoring, change detection, etc.)
Custom flight missions (Ad hoc customer requests, incident documentation, etc.)
GIS Support
Work with end users to identify GIS requirements and assist in the analysis of business processes
Utilize available GIS software to automate tasks and improve efficiencies
Advise on GIS workflows and best management practices
Use analytical GIS tools for spatial analysis, network analysis, etc.

Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts Degree in Geoscience, Geography, Engineering or similar fields
5 years of relevant experience to the duties and responsibilities above.


Experience with the Esri ArcGIS platform including ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Online is required
FAA Part 107 Certificate is preferred but not required
GISP certification or ability to obtain GISP certification in under 2 years is preferred but not required
Minimum of 50 hours flight time on DJI Brand Aircraft is preferred but not required
Proficient in UAS Applications, including but not limited to (DJI Go, DroneDeploy, Pix4D Capture, Drone2Map)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer driven focus
