Marketing Intern

Rainard School for Gifted Children are looking for an innovative and hardworking marketing intern that will help in taking our presence in the community to the next level! Our primary objective is to provide emotional, social, and higher thinking education to “Gifted” children.

Build Relationships with local Elementary and Middle School GT coordinators and Pre-K Schools GT (SBISD, HISD, Private, Fort Bend ISD)


  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
  • Build relationships with therapist, clinics, and testing centers that services Gifted children
  • Build contact database of medical/non-medical professionals names, phone numbers and email addresses
  • Attend Chamber of Commerce functions on behalf of Rainard
  • Connect with: Restaurants, Fitness Centers, and other business where we can cross promote
  • Create fundraising ideas and how to market to the community
  • Build relationships with Neighborhood Associations, Churches, Apartment Complexes and other organizations where potential customers can be identified
  • Other Marketing Customer Relations Duties
  • Create 10 Customer Video Testimonials that we can put on Facebook
  • Set Up Professional Days where professionals can learn more about Rainard
  • Update and Manage distribution of our Monthly Newsletter
  • Communicate Event schedule with Director and Staff
  • Find content for our lobby display area
  • Assist the Marketing Coordinator in all other promotional activities


· Proven experience as a marketing assistant

· Good understanding of office management and marketing principles

· Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

· Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach

· Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords etc.)

· Exquisite communication and people skills

· High School diploma; BSc in Marketing, Business or relevant field is a strong advantage
