We are a growing Austin company and now looking for a dependable person that has basic mechanical knowledge and handyman-type skills. RV repair experience and knowledge is preferred. Must have own basic tools. Must appear professional on the phone as well as in person and needs to have a clean driving record. Must live under a 30 minute drive to Leander, Texas. There will be onsite training and full support as needed.
Our company has a fleet of new luxury restroom trailers that we want to keep in tip top condition and so we are looking for someone who can:
* Perform basic maintenance and repairs and keeping our fleet of trailers in tip-top condition
*Repairs as needed to our actual yard (electric gate, plumbing, electrical, ect..)
* Trailer deliveries ( this is optional if you have a 3/4 truck- and is paid extra per job )
* Keeping yard/supply and parts shed clean, organized and stocked
* Must be very responsive to calls/texts
* Must be organized
* You will need to enter data into online spreadsheets (this is how we track items and stay organized)
*There is one person who lives onsite that you will need to "lightly" manage
* You will be responsible for keeping our supply sheds clean, stocked and organized
*Must be a self-starter and be able to keep the fleet in tip top shape without much supervision
* On-call duties: Be available most times to respond to the very occasional customer call regarding any issues while a trailer is on a job-site.
As a contractor you will generally not have specific work hours and most of the time can set your own schedule. Usually you'll work 4-5 days per week with some Saturdays and/or Sundays.
