The Elections Division ofthe Office of the Clerk and Recorder is a nationally award winning agency who thrives on innovation and customer centric process. The Elections Division provides comprehensive election services for the City and County of Denver including voter records, election operations, election administration, and communications.

About Our Job

Some of the day to day duties:
Assist the Voting Process Administrator and Deputy Director of Voter Services maintain and utilize internal election databases, statistical reports and related electronic applications to track and update various election processes and provide information to management.
Ensures timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
Assist with implementing elections processes and procedures.
Provides the public with general and/or explanatory information, answers questions and resolves problems.
Supervises temporary staff in mail ballot processing.
About You
Our Ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

A minimum of two years of paraprofessional work in election administration at the state or local level.
Experience with the State of Colorado Registration and Election System (SCORE)
Experience supervising seasonal staff or volunteers
Experience in training adult learners

Associate's degree

Two years of paraprofessional work

Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement

Assessments/Testing: This position does not require an assessment.
