The Audio Visual (AV) Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining audio/video products and components of the facilities containing them. AV Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting of AV hardware.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Audio-Visual Technician will provide PC, telephone, and voice and video conference support which may include duties such as:

Ensure optimal performance of AV systems based on situational and customer requirements
Install, configure, operate and maintain room and Desktop base Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment.
Schedule conferences with local and remote VTC sites, provide telephone support to the customer.
Generate trouble tickets through REMEDY for Tier levels 1,2,3.
Interface with the customers to provide training on various VTC equipment, to enhance their knowledge of CISCO TelePresence Management Suite (TMS)
Unpack and set up VTC equipment
Conference Room rehabs
Provide basic user support for the software such as PC, telephone and video troubleshooting when operation errors occur
Perform inventory on software and computer stock and make request for order or order new equipment
Work closely with other members of Service Operations team, Service Design and Service Transition personnel and other IT technical and applications staff.
Use of the Support Center ticket database to track, update and close tickets.
Create and maintain documentation to help train employees resolve day to day issues and knowledge transfer.
Identify and execute process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years relevant experience or
Associate’s Degree and 4+ years relevant experience or
6+ years relevant experience

Level 2

Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years relevant experience or
Associate’s Degree and 6+ years relevant experience or
8+ years relevant experience

Level 3
Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years relevant experience or
Associate’s Degree and 8+ years relevant experience or
10+ years relevant experience

Level 4
Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years relevant experience or
Associate’s Degree and 10+ years relevant experience or
12+ years relevant experience

Years of relevant work experience include:
PC, Telephone or Voice and Video conference support
Experience with TMS, CISCO Telepresence 6000,8000 MXP, EX90, DX80, SX20 and H323, H320 and SIP protocols
CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire
Active TS/SCI Clearance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities is required.
Ability to respond to after hour calls “provide on-call support”
Must possess strong problem solving and fault isolation skill sets
Knowledge of the Customer’s processes and procedures and of the Customer’s production systems a plus
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to function as a team member and independently
Ability to travel 0-20% to local area sites as well as other locations with similar architecture/footprint.
Ability to lift or move various pieces of computer equipment, (max 40 pounds).

The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
