Description:
The position will work with Legal, Government Relations and Operational Units in the business to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the company's Code of Conduct and related policies. The Senior Compliance Consultant will:
Monitor, summarize and report on legislative and regulatory
activities of various states for the Workers Compensation and Auto
products.
Research statutes and regulations and prepare in depth
summaries for impacted business units and collaborate with those business
units to identify solutions to compliance gaps.
Review proposed action plans to ensure they meet compliance
requirements.
Complete research requests and
50 state research projects for the business units to prevent and reduce
compliance issues.
The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
and communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the Company.64422

Fundamental Components:
The Senior Compliance Consultant will monitor, summarize and report on legislative and regulatory activities of various states for the Workers Compensation and Auto products. The Senior Compliance Consultant will research statutes and regulations and prepare in depth summaries for impacted business units and collaborate with those business units to identify solutions to compliance gaps. The Senior Compliance Consultant will also review proposed action plans to ensure they meet compliance requirements. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the Company.

Background Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. Workers' Compensation background preferred, but not required. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills and strong research skills are required. Experience in a regulatory compliance position in healthcare, insurance or financial services is preferred but not required.
