The Business Analyst II position will support the Merchant Services Client Migration Team – which includes POS terminal upgrades, Technical upgrades and Product Solution migrations, with responsibilities for sourcing & understanding the data and producing, distributing and coordinating all reports and communications and governance to communication about these programs to represent our success.
This will include, but is not be limited to, producing reports, creating and updating trackers and presentations about the program. Help support the Relationship Managers, Operations and Technical leads for an initiative. In addition the role will include solving key challenges in the enablement of roll out to strategic and national accounts, and reporting of success to the wider firm key stakeholders on the program.
The Business Analyst Associate will drive change through identifying and implementing data and reporting improvements, while ensuring communications campaigns, key stakeholders and project managers are aware of all the latest information and executed with exceptional quality.
Full reporting communication of any assigned programs to include a strong focus on execution excellence, clear communication, on the right timelines and with a customer centric quality
Participate in merchant migrations & conversions providing data & insights for successful completion
Lead by example and set the project team up for the successful execution and implementation of a client centric delivery.
Support program leads with presentations, reports, communications across the entire program
Regular reporting to Merchant Services and CCB leadership teams as well as LOB partners, providing ad-hoc as well as repeatable reporting and analysis
Support program roll out reporting and forecasting, including periodic analysis of the roll out at customer, retail, commercial and bank level.
Identify, communicate and report on all elements within the project implementation to ensure best in class Point of Sale management and to ensure continuous alignment with JPMC operational standards.
Coordinate performance dashboard reporting and facilitate periodic leadership reviews.
Ensure needed system/data access to efficiently perform reporting and analytics
Collaborate with other analytics teams across lines of business including Finance and other teams within Merchant Services
Ensure maintenance of an ongoing controls environment
BS or MS in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Math, or Operations Research
Minimum 3 years of experience in data mining, reporting/analytics and research in a retail, direct marketing, or other consumer-oriented business with large customer databases
Prior experience working at a payments, or payment technology company is a plus
Strong reporting and analysis skills with hands on knowledge of SQL, SAS, and Oracle development
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint in order to analyze and present data
Hadoop programming and Tableau development a plus
Ability to use sound judgment to guide analysis, draws implications from analysis, and synthesize into clear communications
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly
Strong influencing skills in working with internal as well as external individuals and organizations
