- Job Title: Field Researcher
- Location: 850 Plymouth, Corcoran, CA 93212
- Duration: 12+ Months Contract Extendable
- Pay: $28/hr on W2 without benefits
- Shift: 1st shift, M-F
Description:
- Leading company fully dedicated to agriculture which sells Cotton varieties under the Phytogen brand name.
- This position will be performing field and greenhouse activities at the Station, such as (but not limited to): planting, applying pesticides, applying fertilizer, harvesting, and processing relatively small samples of Cotton.
- Safety and quality of the processes and products are in our culture. This position will be key in maintaining those high standards we cherish.
- All main activities will be done at the station with low travel requirements outside.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or scientific related field.
- Field, greenhouse, and warehouse experience, such as pest management, planting, harvesting, filling and sorting seed packets, crossing, will be preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is desired.
- Demonstrated excellent communication/personal interaction skills to foster teamwork, enhance a positive work environment, and effectively develop strong internal and external working relationships with a diverse group of people, will be valued.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
