Our LAUNDRY AND LINEN Department has an outstanding opportunity for multiple STOCKROOM ATTENDANT 2's. Responsibilities include:
Perform daily routine activities in exchanging linen floor carts, delivering and restocking linens, building and rebuilding linen floor carts for assorted units and clinics within the hospital.
Respond to customer service.
Receive and issue orders and deliver linen in answer to customer calls.
Receive orders from UW Consolidated Laundry and check receipts and invoices.
Maintain daily accurate linen par levels.
Maintain and keep accurate records of lab coats, uniforms, customers orders and any other records for which you are responsible.
Arrange linen floor carts and linen stock to accommodate inventories.
Perform routine activity of picking up dirty linens to load in the carts, and meet truck deliveries to load and unload clean and dirty linen carts.
Demonstrate skilled use of big carts, baskets, pager, pallet jack, weighing scale and computer.
Clean and perform custodial duties in the stockroom area.
Perform other related duties.
Six months of full-time experience as a Stockroom Attendant I OR equivalent education/experience.
