The Operations Manager is responsible for all shift operations personnel and activities. The primary roles and responsibilities are: supervision of all operations personnel; defines staff and shift schedules; allocates resources as applicable; oversees daily and weekly performance metrics; develops operational processes and ensures that shift personnel adhere to the same; manages anomaly resolution; interfaces with factory and external support; reviews all discrepancy reports and provides guidance for software enhancements, training, and procedure update to address the same; maintain certification in all operations positions and provide coverage when needed; conducts Operations Department staff meetings.
Bachelors and 10 years of experience OR 14 years of working experience in lieu of degree.
Must have previous experience working in an operator environment
Experience with Satellite or related ground based systems.
Due to the nature of work performed, U.S. Citizenship is required.
TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance. Will consider candidates without a CI Polygraph, but must be able to obtain CI Polygraph upon hire.
