Senior Auditor
Department: Auditing & Accounting

The NYC Campaign Finance Board (CFB), a nonpartisan, independent city agency that enhances the role of New York City residents in elections, seeks an experienced audit manager to serve as a Senior Auditor in its Auditing and Accounting Unit. The Unit’s core function is to perform detailed, timely audits of campaigns’ financial disclosure statements and supporting documentation in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). Responsibilities:
Manage a team of auditors; supervise, train, and evaluate auditors in performing audit work in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS).
Perform complex compliance, investigative, and financial audits of political campaigns. Overtime will be required to complete work as needed.
Coordinate team assignments for auditors.
Review the work performed by auditors; approve work papers, audit findings and audit reports.
Communicate with management and other CFB units on various audit and compliance issues.
Participate in planning activities of the audit team during the post-election period and coordinating the team’s activities with other CFB units.
Assist other CFB units in compliance, investigation and enforcement actions.
Prepare and present trainings for staff.

Experience in setting up test automation for various kinds of software products from on premise to cloud and SaaS, to also testing performance, load, reliability, scalability, usability, functionality and availability for applications. Work with infrastructure and security teams on secure testing and integrated tools and processes as part of a CI/CD pipeline.

Qualifications:
S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline
2+ years supervisory experience
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience working in an Agile/Iterative development process
Experience working with defect tracking systems, databases and version control systems

As a QA Engineer you will play a central role in the quality assurance of our applications and IT systems. As part of our development team you will work closely with other colleagues including: Developers, UI/UX Designers and Project Managers/Analysts. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for manual testing and test automation of projects involving our customer facing and internal web applications, creating test plans and test cases, building automated tests using Microsoft Test Manager, Azure Test Plans and Selenium, analysis for regression test coverage and certifying existing automated tests against the requirements. Responsibilities:

Develop, document, maintain, execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases and report test results.
Attend sprint planning meetings and participate in project planning, estimation, backlog grooming, iteration planning and daily standup meetings
Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of products.
Create test plans, test suites and test cases
Facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
Isolate, replicate, and report bugs and verify bug fixes using bug tracking system (Microsoft Azure DevOps)
Work with team to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions using Selenium
Perform backend database testing in Microsoft SQL environment
Assist with the development of e-learning and training materials
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Essential Skills:

The Campaign Finance Board (CFB), a nonpartisan, independent city agency that enhances the role of New Yorkers in elections, seeks a Youth Engagement Coordinator to lead and coordinate a robust youth voter engagement strategy for young New Yorkers. The Youth Engagement Coordinator will work closely with Public Affairs staff to assist in the overall coordination of services and opportunities to ensure young New Yorkers have a voice at the polls and have the opportunity to be civically engaged.

We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and enthusiastic candidate who believes in the power of voting and works well in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of programming, is a creative thinker, and has previous experience working with and inspiring young people to take action.

Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Director of Partnerships and Outreach, set annual and quarterly goals for youth engagement strategy that support the agency and division goals.
Facilitate and coordinate a robust youth voter engagement
Support content creation by providing engagement ideas for outreach on digital platforms and field work.
Develop peer-to-peer model for voter engagement.
Recruit and train student leaders for peer-to-peer education.
Coordinate partnerships with community organizations.
Provide resources to relevant organizations that support youth initiatives and other efforts by community organizations to encourage young people to vote.
Create and coordinate civic engagement opportunities for youth and other special events.
Represent CFB and NYC Votes at youth-focused community events.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to incorporate youth voice in relevant programming.
Coordinate and complete administrative reports relating to youth programming.

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Public Affairs, design and perform analysis of campaign finance records, elections and voter participation data.
Research policy and legislative issues related to campaign finance, voter participation, and election administration in New York City and New York State.
Assist in preparing reports and policy briefs on campaign finance and election performance.
Work with Public Affairs staff to create policy recommendations to improve the public matching funds program, voter participation, and election administration.
