Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery (ADCS) is the largest network of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology experts in the Unites States. We have nearly 150 offices across the country, all aimed at providing the highest quality dermatological services.
The HR Generalist provides assistance and facilitates the human resources processes for all business locations of a multi-site, multi-state enterprise. Performs a variety of human resources and administrative functions of an intermediate nature for the field in conjunction with the human resources department. Coordinates various field and home office projects and maintains confidential files and correspondence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist administrators and department managers with all onboarding needs, including new hire paperwork processing, check lists, e-Verify and orientation of staff. Badge processing ad property record retention maintenance for home office associates.
Assist in formulating, developing, implementing and communicating general personnel policies and procedures.
Serve as employee relations expert in developing and training office managers in identifying, analyzing and resolving human resources issues.
Processes all employment action changes for status changes, new hires and terminations.
Prepares, maintains and files personnel files on each active/terminated employee to ensure legal compliance.
Labor law posters ordering, maintenance and compliance.
Provide timely assistance to managers and associates regarding human resource questions and HR processes.
Prepare new hire packets and other employee-related information, as needed.
Oversees unemployment claims management and interacts with managers to ensure timely submission of employer responses.
Provide written and verbal employment verifications.
Review and assist managers with applicant tracking database.
Assist with ensuring compliance in all areas of human resources, including I-9 compliance and audits.
Aides in day-to-day human resources administration and questions.
Participate in HR Team responsibilities, including assisting with projects and correspondence. Assists with employee event planning initiatives, as needed.
Manage tasks to meet time sensitive deadlines.
Custodian of employee records.
Performs other tasks and special projects as required or assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of personnel practices and theories of a human resources department and formulate goals and objectives consistent with ADCS business goals as well as federal, state and local guidelines.
Knowledge of management principles and theories.
Fluent in MSWord, Excel, and general HRIS reporting systems.
Excellent data entry skills (minimum 60 wpm/ 8,000 kpm)
Work requires someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and who can work with minimal supervision.
Ability to keep all HR information confidential. Disclosure of confidential information is grounds for termination.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field highly preferred.
Should possess at least 5 years experience in human resources, preferably within a healthcare environment.
PHR/SPHR certification highly preferred
