Position: Product Manager / Product Owner

Summary / Objective:

Klickly is seeking an intelligent, organized, charismatic and highly-motivated “A-Player” to be our Director of Product. This role will own all product-related activities in the company and is especially suited to individuals with a proven track-record managing the delivery of complex technology and product roadmaps – the role with be responsible for managing the creation of Klickly’s product roadmap, managing execution of major elements within that roadmap, and assuring the quality of that product on an ongoing basis. 5 years leadership experience in a technical product management environment desired. Passion for startups a must.

Essential functions:

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Klickly team (including CEO, executive team, data scientists, sales & marketing specialists, etc.), and users to ensure the product roadmap delivers on critical needs and KPIs
  • Translating roadmap themes into epics and stories, and defining detailed acceptance criteria for these epics and stories
  • Managing Klickly’s pre-sprint, sprint, and post-sprint processes, including maintaining Klickly’s product backlog (epics, stories, bugs and technical tasks), assigning tickets, monitoring progress, and managing the QA process
  • Managing the creation and maintenance of detailed product documentation, for both technical and non-technical purposes
  • Recruiting, managing, and coaching designers, UX/UI specialists, QA specialists, and software engineers

Desired experience and skills:

  • 5+ years leadership experience in a technical product management environment
  • Demonstrated experience in Product Owner roles, including conducting user research, preparing product roadmaps, maintaining product backlogs, and delivering on critical needs and KPIs
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Manager roles, including managing Sprint processes
  • A strong technical skill-set, with a solid understanding of key engineering tools, processes and principles, and a demonstrated experience working with (and ideally managing) technical teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing QA teams
  • Strong analytical skills, applied within a strategic, goal-oriented, and organized analytical approach
  • Understanding of the eCommerce, marketing and advertising industries, with the ability to apply knowledge to product problems
  • Organized with impeccable attention to detail and a methodical and consistent working style
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
  • High levels of integrity and ability to follow strictest confidentiality guidelines
  • A positive attitude
  • Excellent Jira, Confluence, Github, and GSuite management skills
