Aveshka Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Program Development for defense and national security. The successful individual will support the development of Aveshka's pipeline with the Defense and/or Intelligence communities while leading the company’s technical expansion. Specific focus will be on lead generation, solution development, and account maturation for funded opportunities across DoD and/or Intel agencies. This position will need to bring existing customer relationships, be able to develop and maintain new strong business relationships with key decision makers across the government and partner base, as well as identify and qualify business opportunities. This position will also build, mature and execute comprehensive account plans that deliver desired customer awareness and revenue awards.

This role will have direct impact into the development of the strategy and growth of the company and expand capability offerings in engineering and cyber security related fields. Responsibilities
Identify and qualify a robust pipeline of focused opportunities that align with Aveshka capabilities and business objectives. Core capabilities are cybersecurity (e.g. Insider Threat), technology (software and systems development), emergency management, public safety and law enforcement. Aveshka has a strong presence in, and prime contract vehicles with, the Pentagon OSD (e.g. OUSD(i)) and the FBI. Therefore, a candidate that could "pull thru" our capabilities into these markets where we have some presence would be preferred. However, the right person will be one that can take existing capabilities and create a client base; and will have significant autonomy of where to focus their capture efforts.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships focused on understanding customer objectives, priorities, and requirements and which strategically position Aveshka as an innovative industry leader.
Develop and maintains strong industry relations with large and small businesses with significant presence in markets of focus.
Teams with Business Area leadership to provide counsel and recommendations for the bid/no bid gate reviews and leads capture and proposal teams
Conducts competitive analysis and make specific recommendations to grow Aveshka’s offerings
Develop effective win strategies
Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities in excess of $150M
Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or other related technical field plus a Master’s degree

Required Experience:
15+ years' work experience
Prior experience directly related to government defense and/or intel engineering and cyber security policy, program management, or systems development.
Understanding of the defense budget, missions, and requirements definition and solutioning

Required Clearance:
TS/SCI Eligible

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with the U.S. Navy, Pentagon, or other federal defense organizations
Perform economic analyses on government funding streams
Develop business models and determine market trends to substantiate long-term prospects
