Weber Shandwick’s Washington, DC office has an immediate opening for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. This individual will play a critical role in supporting our VP, Talent Acquisition primarily in Washington, DC, but across other offices, as well. S/he will be a part of a team that is focused on bringing on the smartest people, maintaining our culture, and care deeply about a great candidate and employee experience.
The ideal candidate will have a curiosity and interest in recruiting and previous experience in administrative support. We’re seeking an energetic, positive and entrepreneurial candidate who is interested in developing new skills and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Work closely with the VP, Talent Acquisition on all aspects of the recruiting life-cycle, including:
Provide operational and project management support for open positions across multiple practice areas
Post descriptions in our applicant tracking system (ATS)
Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers
Communicate status updates to candidates and hiring teams
Light reception duties
Administrative duties including managing job postings, candidate workflow status and other candidate spreadsheets
Greet and accompany candidates throughout the interview schedule
Close positions in ATS and lead tracking for OFCCP compliance
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
1-2+ years administrative experience
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook; familiarity with HR software a plus
Previous experience and/or desired interest in talent acquisition/recruiting
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Experience with Taleo a bonus

Prioritization – handle multiple competing priorities and follow-through on tasks
