PROGRAM
PROMOTE! Is a partnership with the Escondido Union School District (EUSD) to provide evidence-based prevention and early mental health intervention services to at-risk and disadvantaged children, ages 4-9, in 12 Escondido elementary schools.
THE POSITION
Vista Hill is looking for a California licensed mental health clinician to lead a team of behavioral health educators, clinicians, and family partners in an innovative social emotional learning program in the Escondido area. The program is funded by the County of San Diego and works closely with a partnering school district to provide classroom and small group interventions for children aged 4-9 years old. The program uses the evidence-based Incredible Years program to teach social emotional skills to youth and work as part of a collaborative school team to create a caring and mindful community. The program has been serving thousands of youth annually since 2016. An example of tasks include:
- Provide supervision, education, and training and oversees the work product of all staff.
- Ensure that Assessments, Client Plans, and all Progress Notes are completed in accordance with all applicable standards and reflect quality care.
- Is a liason with the school district.
- Ensure that all unusual occurrences, critical incidents, and patient, staff, and stakeholder complaints are thoroughly investigated, documented, and responded to, according to Vista Hill and district policy, and applicable ethical and legal requirements.
- Ensure that staff are informed of all procedural requirements.
- Ensures that the program is successfully meeting all contract objectives.
- Develop and implement a plan to address any areas needing improvement.
- Monitors, develops, and reports on Vista Hill and stakeholder performance outcome objectives and ensure that data is current and accurately recorded.
- Train staff on standards for completion of all outcome measures.
- Ensure that all Privacy Practice standards and ethical practice standards are implemented within the program.
- Provide routine audit of all records ensuring that records comply with all known documentation standards and procedural requirements.
- Submits monthly productivity report to the Director.
- Identifies and implements strategies to develop new program opportunities.
- Assists in the professional development of staff.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or human behavior.
- State license for Clinical Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- Three years experience working with children, youth and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Must have knowledge of the cultural issues that can impact mental health treatment, be aware of public school systems and culture, and have an ability to teach and lead a team of mental health professions to effectively implement the Incredible Years curriculum to young students (we provide curriculum training to the Manager).
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check, and TB test.
PAY FOR PROGRAM MANAGER III
$39.00 per hour minimum starting rate.
This is a starting rate and may be adjusted up based on education and experience.
Current Vista Hill employees in these job titles for 2024 are paid $39.00 - $47.50 per hour.
There is a $5,000 sign-on bonus for this position, paid half at 3 months and half after passing probation (approx. 6 months).
BENEFITS
Employees working over 30 hours a week receive employer-paid benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off (vacation and sick leave), paid holidays, employer-paid retirement contribution and clinical supervision (if applicable). Some programs qualify for student loan forgiveness programs.
Employees who work less than 30 hours a week do not qualify for healthcare benefits.
