Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.
What will I be doing?
In the Manager of Honors Finance position, you will play a crucial role in both managing the overall Profit and Loss (P&L), including modeling the program’s outstanding point liability, as well as spearheading various analyses and initiatives to continue to improve upon the overall financial health of the program. You should also be comfortable with all aspects of analysis from data mining to data crunching to synthesizing findings into presentations for an executive level audience.
In this role, you will provide analytical support for operational and project initiatives that enable the achievement of the Company's revenue and EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) plans, while maintaining and strengthening the Company's competitive advantage. You will also be expected to develop business relationships, identify profitable opportunities, anticipate challenges, and devise and execute strategies to deliver against current and future global priorities.
More specifically, you will:
Master our internal, SQL-based databases to effectively pull and analyze data from millions upon millions of records to identify important trends.
Inform forecasts, and contribute to some of the most important program decisions.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
Four (4) years of professional experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Proficiency with SQL and complex databases
Proficient with supporting the development of senior executive-level briefings on complex financial trends and forecasts
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Mathematics
Six (6) years of professional experience
Previous Hospitality industry experience
Experience with creating and delivering senior executive-level briefings
Experience with Hyperion's Essbase/Smartview, PeopleSoft’s nVision, Cognos and/or Business Objects
Advanced knowledge of analytic and business intelligence tools, such as Cognos, SPSS, Stata, SQL and SAS
