Duties: (Note* This position is not for a physician in training)
- Provide primary care services to adult patients
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, medical imaging, and special procedures
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Utilize electronic health records to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or PA in the state of Arizona
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in the respective specialty area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
