Through our five health centers in East San Gabriel and Pomona we have been providing healthcare to underserved communities for the past 47 years. Our patients benefit from comprehensive services including medical, dental, vision and mental health.

To support our mission and growth we have an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant to support the administrative operations at one of our facilities. This position will provide administrative support to a clinic manager and her team.

Responsibilities for this position:

  • Assists in the management verbal and written communications;
  • Manages calendar for the Clinic Manager;
  • Captures any scheduling errors with patients’ appointments.
  • Prepares reports and presentations as required;
  • Performs daily cash reconciliation;
  • Maintains office supplies inventory;
  • Assists in the onboarding of new team members;
  • Enters department time cards for payroll processing;
  • Coordinates administrative workflow of the department;
  • Interacts daily with team members to discuss standard business policy and procedures.
  • Assists in fact finding process to resolve patient complaints.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of two year experience in an office environment performing a similar level of work required.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Bilingual, Fluent in English, Spanish required.
  • Effective interpersonal skills;
  • Effective written and verbal communication;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Must have an understanding an experience with Electronic Health Records.
  • Proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
