A Day in the Life as an Elevator Mechanic
As an Elevator Mechanic, you will work out of our Mountain West operations at the Centerville, Utah headquarters or in Colorado our Centennial location, and includes all of Colorado, Eastern Wyoming & Montana, and Northern New Mexico. This is a full-time permanent 40-hour per week, Monday through Friday position working from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some overtime is not uncommon. Some travel will be required but seldom overnight and all travel expenses are reimbursable. You will spend your days maintaining, servicing, repairing, updating, refurbishing, and upgrading elevators, vertical platform lifts, inclined platform lifts, dumbwaiters, and stair lifts in commercial, residential, industrial, or any other code-compliant environment.
What You Need to be Qualified for this Job
To be qualified for this job, certifications, job experience, and references in the following areas will be helpful: elevator mechanics, HVAC mechanics, electronic repair, hydraulic components, automotive mechanics, plant maintenance mechanics, or equipment maintenance. You Will be provided with take home a Company vehicle. You must have your own hand tools. Specialized tools will be furnished by the company. This is a physical job and you must be able to lift and move eighty pounds without assistance. You may be required to receive a physical examination, along with a drug test.
