Provide technical leadership in the development of high performance IC and board level assemblies - from concept to production.
Work with cross functional teams to define subsystem requirements and interfaces
Perform circuit design, simulation, and testing of analog and mixed-signal electronics for applications such as ion trap electrode voltage control and high speed waveform generation.
Create schematics, board layouts, generate drawings, BOMs, and documentation
Write test procedures, perform board and system level testing and debug, document test results
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
>15 years of experience designing, simulating, and verifying analog and mixed-signal electronics for low noise applications
Detailed understanding of all aspects of analog/mixed signal chain (power supplies, voltage references, data converters, low-noise amplifiers, and filters)
Proficient with circuit simulation and modeling tools
Schematic capture with Altium Designer (preferred), OrCAD, or Allegro
Working knowledge of circuit board design, fabrication, and assembly processes
Familiarity with techniques/equipment for high precision and low noise measurements
Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to mentor junior engineers
