Summary:
Implement Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) principles to support development of Enterprise, Mission, and Business Infrastructure Technology (IT) enterprise capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop enterprise-level architecture products.
Solve emerging problems to recommend possible solutions and appropriate courses of action to complex or ambiguous client challenges.
Maintain and improve data and configuration management processes, process documentation and process tools/aids. Identify and resolve data/process issues.

Required Qualifications:
B.S. Electrical Engineering; Computer Science; Math – Applied, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Recent systems engineering experience supporting Navy SPAWAR or another Navy enterprise.
Strong experience with systems engineering architecture and DoDAF.
Experience with architecture design and development to modify/improve functionality.
3+ years of experience.
Existing DOD Secret Clearance or greater.
Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering approaches.
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE or MBE).
SysML or UML
Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying C4ISR architectures, including capability, operational, services and system aspects.
Experience with Unicom (formerly IBM) System Architect and NoMagic MagicDraw tools.
Knowledge of data modeling and logical/physical database design.
Knowledge of DoDAF Architecture, data and configuration management, and data analysis.
Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
Familiarity with C4I systems.
Effective written, oral, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).
Ability to work individually and on team projects in an environment of teamwork and cooperation.

Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
