The Learning Technologies Lab at the University of Pittsburgh School of Computing and Information (SCI) is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student with experience in software and game development using Unity 3D platform and C# programming language.
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting several game development projects.
The incumbent will report directly to the Lab’s director and work closely with the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and School of Information Sciences faculty and research staff.
This is a part-time position that requires 5-10 hours per week from September 10, 2018 through April 30, 2019.
Collect requirements from stakeholders
Design and implement functional game prototypes using Unity3D and C#
Deploy game prototypes multiple platforms
Iteratively playtest games and integrate feedback / bug fixes
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrable experience with and knowledge of Unity3D and C#
Demonstrable knowledge of basic game design principles
Child Protection Clearances
The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
